Giveaway Picker

This free giveaway picker takes your pasted comments or entry list, cleans it in one click, and draw winners and backup winners with a secure random draw. It works for any platform and never asks for your login.

  • No account login
  • Duplicates removed
  • @mention rule check
  • Backups and proof
1. What are you pasting?

Tip: export comments to a spreadsheet, then copy the username and comment columns together.

3. Results appear here

You’ll see the winners, backup winners in order, how many entries were removed and why, and a fingerprint of the final list so entrants can check it.

How to use it

Pick a Giveaway Winner in Four Steps

  1. Get your entries into a list. Use a comment-export tool, a form or spreadsheet export, or copy names by hand. Put one entry on each line.
  2. Choose what you pasted. Pick “Comments” if each line starts with the username followed by the comment, or “A plain list” for names, emails or handles.
  3. Set your rules. Keep “One entry per person” on unless extra comments count as extra entries. Set how many friends must be tagged, and exclude your own account, staff or past winners.
  4. Pick winners. Choose how many winners and backups you need, then press Pick winners. Copy the results or a draw record link to share.

Why it’s fair

What Makes the Draw Fair

  • Clean first, then draw. Duplicates, entries without enough tags and excluded accounts are removed before the draw, and the tool tells you how many and why.
  • Equal chances. Winners and backups are drawn with your browser’s secure random number generator using a shuffle in which every order is equally likely.
  • Backups are drawn at the same time. If a winner doesn’t reply, the next backup in line wins, so nobody is picked again later.
  • Proof anyone can check. The final list gets a SHA-256 fingerprint. Share the draw record link and entrants can confirm the list on our draw checker.

Why paste instead of connecting

No Login, Any Platform

Many giveaway pickers ask you to connect your Instagram or Facebook account so they can read the comments. This picker works from a list you paste, which has trade-offs worth knowing:

Works anywhere

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, Discord, email sign-ups, Google Forms, a raffle at an event: if you can turn the entries into a list, you can draw from it.

Your accounts stay private

You never hand over a login or permissions, and the list is processed in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server.

What it can’t check

A pasted list can’t show who follows you, liked the post or shared it. Check those rules for the winner and backups after the draw, before you announce.

Entry rules

How the Rules Work

  • One entry per person matches names without caring about capital letters or a leading @, so @Jane_Doe and jane_doe count as the same person. The first entry is kept.
  • Tag rule counts different accounts tagged in the comment. Tagging yourself or tagging the same friend twice doesn’t count. Only use it where the platform allows it: Facebook’s promotion policy doesn’t allow requiring or rewarding tags, while Instagram only bans inaccurate tags. See how to give extra entries fairly.
  • Exclude takes one account per line, or a comma-separated list, so you can keep your own account, staff and last month’s winners out.
  • Plain list mode treats each whole line as one entry and skips the tag rule.

Live and on camera

Drawing Live? Spin the Clean List

If you want the excitement of a spinning wheel on a stream or video, press “Spin this list on the wheel” after cleaning. It opens our spin the wheel page with the cleaned list loaded, so you can spin on camera from exactly the same entries.

How to Prove the Draw Was Fair

  1. Before the draw, post how you’ll pick the winner and which rules apply.
  2. Clean the list and post the list fingerprint, or the full cleaned list if entrants are happy to have their usernames shown.
  3. Draw on a screen recording or live stream.
  4. Share the draw record link. It opens the draw checker with the winners, time and list, and anyone can paste the list to check the fingerprint matches.

Avoid these

Common Giveaway Picker Mistakes

  • Changing the rules after entries are in.
  • Forgetting to remove your own account or staff.
  • Drawing again until a favourite wins. Draw once, with backups.
  • Announcing before checking the winner met every rule.
  • Asking a winner for bank or card details. A real giveaway never needs them.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this giveaway picker free?

Yes. There’s no sign-up, no limit on entries and no watermark.

Can it read Instagram comments from a post link?

No. It doesn’t connect to any account. Export or copy the comments into a list and paste them in. That keeps your login private and works for any platform.

How many entries can I paste?

There’s no fixed limit. The picker runs in your browser and handles thousands of lines quickly on a normal phone or laptop.

Can I give people extra entries for extra comments?

Yes. Turn off “One entry per person” and every line counts as one entry, so someone with three comments has three chances.

How many winners can I pick?

Up to 100 winners and 50 backups in one draw. Each one is different.

What if the winner doesn’t reply?

Give them the deadline from your rules, then move to the first backup winner, then the next. The order was set at the draw.

Can someone check the draw later?

Yes. Copy the draw record link. It shows the winners, time and the cleaned list on our verify page, with its fingerprint.

Is the random draw really fair?

Yes. It uses your browser’s secure random number generator, and every entry has the same chance. See how our draws work.
